Our Achievements

Acquired the 10 acre plot in the industrial park from the government through the Uganda investment authority where we have constructed a coffee hulling machine, one store and fence it with chain links and concrete fencing poles.
 Lobbed and advocated for better market to their members’ produces.
 Equipped members especially women with handcraft skills as well as lobbying market for the craft products.
 Offering training to the members on good organic practices of farming, education, health, poverty reduction and economic empowerment.
 Started a savings and credit groups in different communities of the cooperative which has enabled its members to access financial services like loans and trainings.
 Acquisition of 8 motorized pulpers with calibrated moisture-meters and weighing scales which have been distributed to various micro washing station.
 The cooperative is still holding its fairtrade cotton certificate which was acquired in 2015.

COOPERATIVE FUTURE PLANS
 Building an administration block at the industrial land where staff offices will be for easy administration.
 Getting the cooperative Fairtrade certified in coffee since its members have been practicing all the standards through Bukonzo Organic Cooperative Union.
 Constructing a baskets main store at the cooperative land in the Kasese Industrial and Business Park where baskets will be kept before export.
 Constructing a cotton ginnery and stores at the cooperative land in the Kasese Industrial and Business Park where farmers’ cotton will be stored and ginned.
